  • Steven Floyd LCSW, CASAC

    FOUNDER

    Hi there! I'm Steven Floyd. I am a psychotherapist, writer and owner of a group practice in New York City. I'm passionate about supporting individuals and couples on their journey to feeling more connected and alive. After graduating with my Masters in Social Work, I worked at one the country’s most acclaimed dual diagnosis treatment centers and at a highly regarded practice in New York City.

    In that time, I’ve undergone intensive training and supervision in individual, couples and group therapy. My practice is also enriched by over a decade of experience in 12-step recovery, Buddhist recovery, and mindfulness/somatic practices, which inform my holistic approach.

    I approach my work with a profound sense of dedication and professionalism, valuing the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for my clients. I have a deep understanding of the complexities of the human mind, relationships and emotions, yet also infuse humor and playfulness into my sessions.

    My practice is inclusive and welcoming.

  • Mike Rodgers

    CERTIFIED RECOVERY COACH

    Mike Rodgers is a Certified Recovery Coach and has been working in the field for 14 years. He has been sober since 2009 and uses his personal experiences to help others. Mike specializes in Addiction treatment and Mental Health and holds certifications including the Life Purpose Institute Certification and Trauma of Money Certification. He has also attended the Arise Intervention training in Nashville, TN and has completed Certified Addiction Recovery Coach Certification (CARC) hours.

    Mike has experience working with people in early and long term substance abuse recovery and those struggling with impulsivity, gambling, porn/sex addiction, and technology/video game addiction. Additionally, he has experience working with people on the Autism Spectrum. He also has expertise in men's wellness, supporting men in reaching their personal and career goals.

    Throughout his career he has worked with acclaimed treatment centers, recovery programs and sober livings. In addition to being a coach, Mike is on track to receiving his Masters in Social Work at New York University with the goal of becoming a therapist. He would also like to use his degree for social justice and advocacy work. In his free time he is a street photographer, documenting the beauty New York has to offer and is a self proclaimed at home DJ. s here

  • Russell Weigandt LMSW

    ASSOCIATE THERAPIST

    Russell is a Licensed Master Social Worker. He earned his Masters in Social Work from New York University’s Silver School. He also holds a Masters in Public Administration from NYU’s Wagner School and a Masters in Journalism from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School.

    After 15 years as a corporate consultant to the Fortune 100, Russell transitioned to become a psychotherapist. While working at an award-winning dual-diagnosis treatment center in New York City, he honed his therapeutic skills through intensive training in individual, couples and group therapy. He has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Mindfulness techniques.

    In his work as a therapist, Russell prioritizes curiosity, open-mindedness and nonjudgmental compassion in helping clients explore the roots of their current mental health challenges. He specializes in working with individuals facing difficult life transitions, relationship challenges, professional dilemmas and existential crises. His psychodynamic approach enables clients to discover how their developmental interpersonal experiences have impacted their current behavioral and relationship patterns. Russell views effective therapy as a supportive partnership that empowers clients to tap into their own wisdom and strengths to build toward the future they deserve.

  • Katie Lambert LMSW

    ASSOCIATE THERAPIST

    Katie is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Stony Brook University, where she focused her training on working with families and adolescents. Throughout her career, she has held various positions within the healthcare and non-profit industry.

    Katie works with adolescents and adults.  Her areas of specialization are anxiety disorders, perinatal and postnatal care, and parents or family members of children with special needs. She also comes from an extensive corporate background and enjoys helping clients navigate career-related challenges, while focussing on strategic planning and role definition within your field of expertise.

    Katie utilizes evidence-based treatments such as Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. Katie creates an environment that is client-centered, non-judgmental, and supportive, allowing individuals to compassionately understand and discover personal behavioral patterns, while making meaningful progress towards healing and growth. She is passionate about providing comprehensive care to help her clients during life-transitions and to improve their overall emotional well-being. Katie believes in a tailored approach for each individual in providing the best support for his or her unique, complex, and personal circumstances.
