FAQs

Do you take insurance?

I am an out of network provider, which means that I do not directly participate with any insurance plans. As an out of network provider, a receipt will be provided to you at the end of the month to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Being out of network allows me to provide the most individualized and flexible treatment to my clients. Many people have out of network benefits and can be reimbursed for psychotherapy services by as much as 40-70%, depending on the plan. If requested, I can assist you in submitting claims for reimbursement.  Here are some questions that might be helpful to ask your insurance company:

  1. Does my plan offer any out-of-network benefits for mental health?

  2. Do I have a deductible? If yes, how much of it has already been met?

  3. Are there any limitations on the number of sessions my plan covers for mental health?

  4. How much will I get reimbursed per visit when I see an out-of-network mental health provider?

  5. Do I need any type of prior approval or referral in order to get reimbursed?

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, credit card and Zelle. Most of my client use their credit cards on their patient portal through an auto-pay function which is very convenient. A credit card is needed on file before the first session.

My full rate is $300 for individual psychotherapy, $400 for couples and $100 dollars for group.

Do you offer sliding scale or low fee?

20% of my practice is dedicated to “pay what you can afford” low fee based on financial need. I also offer group therapy at a lower cost

What is your cancellation Policy?

A 48-hour notice is required to avoid being charged a cancellation fee. These fees are waived for extenuating circumstances and are up to my discretion.

Do you offer both Telehealth and In-Person?

Yes, I offer Telehealth in NY and NJ were I am licensed to practice. I do have an office in Midtown East in Manhattan
