A little about me…

Hi there! I'm Steven Floyd, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I'm passionate about supporting individuals and couples on their journey to feeling more connected and alive. After graduating with my Masters in Social Work, I worked at one the country’s most acclaimed dual diagnosis treatment centers and at a highly regarded practice in New York City.

In that time, I’ve undergone intensive training and supervision in individual, couples and group therapy. My practice is also enriched by over a decade of experience in 12-step recovery, Buddhist recovery, and mindfulness/somatic practices, which inform my holistic approach.

I approach my work with a profound sense of dedication and professionalism, valuing the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for my clients. I have a deep understanding of the complexities of the human mind, relationships and emotions, yet also infuse humor and playfulness into my sessions.

I continuously strive to maintain an inclusive practice. I welcome you to take the first step by sending me an email! Let's embark on this journey of self-discovery together.
